Synopsis
This story revolves around Cheng Shaoshang (Zhao Lusi), whom her parents left behind when they went to the battlefield. Consequently, she was raised by her cunning aunt and foolish grandmother. Having to fend for herself, she remains constantly vigilant.
The story begins with the return of Shaoshang’s parents. Having lived without them until she was grown, she finds it difficult to bond with the family. She soon meets the Emperor’s foster son, Ling Buyi (Wu Lei), whom she perceives as a very stern and ruthless man.
